Our Journey

Timeline

Below is the timeline of our journey and where we have brought the Eucharistic Miracles Encounter (EME) programme as well as other events the apostolate has taken part in:

  • Notre Dame High, Sheffield, England
    Februrary 2023
    We were invited for a day and ended up staying a month until all the RE classes had experienced The Eucharistic Miracles Encounter (EME).

  • Mount St Mary’s college, Spinkhill, England
    April 2023
    We spent 2 weeks here implementing the EME programme.

  • St Columba’s High, Diocese of Paisley, Scotland

    October 2023
    This was the pilot school for the EME programme in Paisley with the idea of covering all the schools: St Andrew’s primary School, St Joseph’s Primary School and St Ninian’s Primary School came to St Columba’s and a report by the head teacher was written for the other schools in Paisley.

  • Largs, Diocese of Galloway, Scotland

    October and December 2023
    Several trips to Largs during this period including bringing EME presentation to St Mary, Star of the Sea Parish

  • Notre Dame High, Diocese of Paisley, Scotland

    March 2023
    We spent 4 Days here implementing the EME programme.

  • St. Stephen’s High, Diocese of Paisley, Scotland

    March 2023
    We spent 5 Days here implementing the EME programme.

  • St. Benedict’s High, Diocese of Paisley, Scotland

    April 2023
    We spent 5 Days here implementing the EME programme.

  • St. Ninian’s High, Diocese of Paisley, Scotland

    May 2023
    We spent 4 Days here implementing the EME programme.

  • St Andrew’s Academy, Diocese of Paisley, Scotland

    June 2023
    We spent 5 Days here – there are 7 primary schools and the high school, implementing the EME programme.

  • Trinity High, Diocese of Paisley, Scotland

    June 2023
    We spent 5 Days here implementing the EME programme.

  • World Youth Day, Lisbon, Portugal

    August 2023

    We brought Carlo Acutis to WYD, around 2,100+ prayer intentions were received; 5,000 Bl. Carlo quote stickers were given out; 18,000 Bl. Carlo prayer cards given out. These prayer intentions along with those collected from schools – amounting to around 7,000 – were delivered to Carlo’s tomb in Assisi.   • Thousands gather in Manchester

    September 2024

    With help from parishes we organised Carlo’s relic to be brought to St Anthony’s Parish, Wythenshawe, Manchester. More than 2,500 were present by the end.

Photos

One of the schools in Paisley, Scotland, that were brought EME to in 2023. As a result of the visit here is the whole of S2 engaged in their own retreat day. They spent 20 minutes before the blessed sacrament compared to only a few minutes before they were introduced to EME.
